Now this project was a challenge from the beginning...

And why you may ask? Well, on rough 6x20m plot, the beautiful Victorian worker's cottage needed some love...and space for a growing family loving every part of their near cit abode.

The challenge was met, and we added two great bedrooms upstairs with a crisp modern clean line bathroom, squeezed by heritage controls, the roof line was kept low, windows carefully located and a couple skylight strategically located over the middle of the dwelling sharing light into the bathroom, stairwell and the Living room at ground level.

Ground floor was transformed into a light filled high ceiling space to love. A new modern Kitchen along the side, low cabinet storage on the other with great space for sitting, eating and play. With polished concrete floor, full height sliding doors to the courtyard and a refreshing revamp of the Laundry bathroom, this once pokey cottage was transformed.
